I am reading The Truth About Melody Brown by Lisa Jewell, my friend gave it to me. It's not as chick lit as I thought, I am really enjoying it

I am enjoying it Gal. I have just read the bit where they have cut their first record and she is still with (what is left of) the band although they are her backing band rather than "her" band.

I have another couple on order at the library so am looking forward to them coming (can't remember what they are though).

Bb is going to treat us to a book each from Tesco so I'll have the AM Homes to look forward to - he'll read that one as well.
Meantime I'll have a look on the kindle and see what I've got

Lisa Jewell is a surprise isn't she, her books are much better than they look

I'm reading another from my pile - late again to The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, it's lovely

But today himself went to Tesco and got us treats The am homes, Gone Girl, Harlan Coben's latest and a James Patterson, yippeeeeeeeeee The James Patterson doesn't appeal but the rest are for both of us

He's buried in the Harlan (Stay Close) - he will finish that tonight, guaranteed

So once Guernsey's finished, am homes here I come

I'm guessing you'll have finished it now....did you like it?

I've started another one today - Judith Gould's The Best is Yet to Come. There was a lot of detailed sex on page 4! But it's coming along nicely now (I'm about a third through it, I haven't done much else today )

I have finished Melody Brown and I really enjoyed it. I am now reading The Saving Graces by Patricia Gaffney which I picked up in a charity shop

Shell, Lisa Jewell hasn't written a book which I've not enjoyed, I really like her writing. I've just bought another of hers, The Making Of Us, on Kindle. Might save that for Cornwall.
