There's been a rush of new releases in the last week, so I've picked up the new Ian Rankin (Rebus), Lee Child (Reacher), Michael Connelly (Ballard & Bosch), and John Grisham (a "factual" on wrongful convictions in America rather than fiction). Christmas come early, and not too ruinous thanks to Asda!

The complete series of the EM Delafield "Provincial Lady" stories. Written in the early 20th Century so in a completely different world, but she's such a sharp observer of human nature, and that doesn't change I read "Diary of a Provincial Lady" donkeys years ago and enjoyed it, so when this came up on Kindle for next to nothing I grabbed it
